Tuition fees

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland are in general required to pay application and tuition fees for studies in Sweden.To find out more, please visit Universityadmission.se(icon)

Tuition fees at GIH

At GIH tuition fees per one semester of full time studies (30 credits) in Sport science are SEK 93 000. 

Courses in other subject areas may have a different price category. Information about the total tuition fee for each course/programme is usually provided for the specific course/programme at Universityadmissions.se(icon)

Please note that the tuition fee does not include living expenses, such as accommodation, food, literature etc.

Scholarships

The Swedish government has established different scholarship schemes due to the introduction of tuition fees for students from outside of the EU/EEA/Switzerland.

Swedish Institute Scholarships

The Swedish Institute offers some forms of scholarships. For more information, please consult Study in Sweden.

Scholarships offered by GIH

GIH offers a scholarship scheme available for particularly qualified students coming from countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland. These scholarships cover only tuition fees and the students will need to cover their own living costs.

In order to apply for the scholarship, fee-paying students who have been admitted to a programme at GIH can fill in the below application form for a tuition fee waiver.
